A bit misleading
3Yes, BB8 is great fun, proper little character but I was a bit disappointed to find out that he doesn't project holographic video, you have to watch him do it on the iPad. Bit of a let down. Also he doesn't make any noises, again it's through your device. He tends to bang into things and get stuck a lot but apart from that, I'm sure I will have many hours of fun.

5Great product, great fun. Packaging is amazing - really sets the scene for a great present. Ordering was simple - last minute birthday present & paid for super-duper next day delivery - which obviously was scheduled to be delivered to my home when no one would be in (sods law) - had the delivery re-routed to Halfords to collect from there - but was disappointed to find that it then wasn't available to collect until after mid-day the next day - and then the queue in Halfords was ridiculous. But well worth all the effort - have now also purchased a force wrist band & am currently a jedi in training!

5I bought this for the Star Wars fan in my house, my 51 year young husband, for his birthday. He was delighted with it and even pushed aside his Lego Star Wars set to set it up instantly and play, making him late for a conference call! It's easy to set up, the app was easy to install and it's great fun to use and quite robust. The packaging is excellent and it came well within the time allowed. The offer was brilliant too, best gift I've bought in a while

5Bought this for the man who has everything and he loved it. He's difficult to buy for but I know he loves tech and Star Wars so I had a good idea he would like it. Easy to set up and had some power even before the initial charge, this is good because sometimes you're too excited to wait. He tested it on the laminate floor in the lounge and both cats left the room soon after. It makes cute noises as it explores the room. It's in no way a useful thing to have but then thats not why I bought it. The app to control it is easy to use and I'm sure it'll entertain him for a few years before it becomes an ornament.

5This is a fantastic little piece from the latest Star Wars movie. My son absolutely loves it and is a must for any Star Wars fan. Superb.

5Brilliant and great price - when I finally got it working! Couldn't get it to link through Bluetooth. Thought I had a problem with my new phone at first, so spent a happy afternoon in the mobile phone shop. No joy. Then I searched the web - lots of people having a problem, so felt a bit better but hadn't solved anything. Then had a light-bulb moment in the middle of the night. Check the app download? I had downloaded the WRONG app!!! Beware - this is called the Sphero BB8. So I downloaded the Sphero app. IDIOT!!! It should have been the Sphero BB8 app. With the correct app in place, I was off and (literally) running in seconds! I wonder how many of the other people having a problem did the same thing?
