Excellent Value
5I bought this for my partner as he mentioned that he had watched an elderly woman catching fish in a marina, when he was on holiday in Menorca, using a stick & hook with bread for bait. His son (5 or 6 at the time) had wanted to join in and he spent two days of his holiday looking for a small rod to take him fishing. When I saw this, I thought it would be an ideal surprise gift for when we went on holiday to Menorca and I was right. It was compact and light enough to carry in the case and he had a fun afternoon trying to catch the fish - not very successful I'm afraid as other people were feeding the fish, but there were plenty of people stopping to ask where he had got the fishing rod from. Ideal gift for people who like the unusual and with a bit of practice I think this time round he will be more successful. We are taking it with us to the Greek Islands soon and I think it will be great to catch our dinner!!

3Purchased as a present for a friend who is a keen fisherman. He loved it, can keep in the car all the time just incase the urge to fish is to great. Will be interesting to see how it actually performs.
