Bought the pen, definatel6 has its uses, just feels a bit flimsy
Ultimate Geek Pen
Bought for my bookish son-in-law as a "geeky" joke! It was completely lost however as the pen did not come in the packaging it shows on the site - it was in a very dull and boring little metal box. Pen is very flimsy and delicate. Really not worth the money.
Ok for the price
Brought two pens as both my dad and I love gizmos. Item itself works fine, but feels quite delicate and fragile. But good for the price.
The pen works fine, as does the red 'pointer' light. The UV light isn't that great, but works very close to what you're using it on. The actual torch is a bit fiddly but works okay too. The stylus nib does not work on anything I've tried, so I use it for pointing at things when I don't want to get ink on them. I do like it, batteries last a while, not too bulky.
Daughter loved it and nephew been playing with it since yesterday.
Not a bargain at 20 for 3 quid
The own is a cheap poem with a cheap torch light function, a blue light, a last power light and a screen nib that works on old fashioned resistive screens only, it will not work on a modern android or apple screen at all and will probably scratch the screen to boot. 3 for 20 quid? Not even a bargain at 20 for three quid.
Nice Gadget, Dodgy Dispatch.
The Geek Pen is a lovely novelty item & well worth the price. Just two things stopped me giving it five stars. Firstly, the packaging was different from the picture; it came in a silver coloured tin with a shoddy foam insert & no instructions. Secondly, the pen light was switched on when it arrived, so I had to replace the batteries using the spare ones supplied. This left three empty holes in the foam insert where the spare batteries were slotted. As this was a gift for someone, I had to buy replacement batteries to go into the empy slots. I also had to print my own set of instructions to go in the tin, so the recipient knew what features were on the pen and how to operate them. I wrote the instructions based on information from the iwoot product page.
The delivery service was excellent in fact your service out stripped all other companies i dealt with on the run up to Christmas. The goods were every thing that was advertised and went down well with the people that were given to as presents all I can say is keep up the GOOD work
Awesome little gadget, can't wait to give it to my little brother :D
Great pen... no instructions!
The gift itself is a fab idea yet as a secret santa present was extremely disappointing... although it comes it a nice metal tin, it's packaged in a small box with no explanation of what's inside. It also doesn't include any instructions which, with an item of this kind really are needed!
