5I love the Wizard of Oz - Personalised Classic Novel and can't wait to get a stock of these books as Christmas presents. I bought this for my kids, but then needed an emergency gift and wrapped this Wizard of Oz book kit and was very proud to give such a unique and special and beautifully presented gift. A real winner!

5I spent hours scouring IWOOT, looking for a gift for my girlfriend. As soon as I saw the personalized novel collection I knew that Wizard of Oz was the one straight away. There are other versions of personalized novels out there that I considered, namely ones where you can fill out a form online and get the book delivered straight to you. Although this is obviously faster, I thought the idea of giving her the option of choosing how she would like to personalize the book herself was much better than me choosing for her. So what you actually get with this version is a box with instructions for you to choose what names you would like in the book, which you can fill out by post or online, and then get the book printed and sent out to you. It's all very well presented and she loved it, proving that this isn't just something for the kids to enjoy; it's also a unique, quirky gift for anyone who likes the Wizard of Oz or any other classic story. In short, it's awesome and you should buy it.

3I just received this book, and I think it's well-printed. My big disappointment is the fact that it doesn't fit in the gift box! The book is too big.

5My sister loves this book so I got it as a birthday present for her. Once you get to the age where you can both buy yourself what you want buying presents can get difficult so I was thrilled to see this and I know she will treasure it. As well as changing the character names it was lovely to change the publication date to her date of birth, add our family name to the author name and include a inscription. You get the pack first which was easy to complete online and I received the book 3 weeks later. A tip I have is to keep the original pack as it comes in a box in the same style of the book that is perfect to put the book in when giving as a gift. I am already planning which one to give to a friend for her birthday :0)

4Very impressed with the idea of personalising a book for a friend or partner etc. you can pick and choose which characters you (and your friends) want to be. adds a personal touch that most presents dont have. only thing is, its can take upto 28 days for the finished article to come back, but was worth the wait.

5I bought the Alice in Wonderland book for my boyfriend's mother, and she absolutely adores it. I received this item within 24 hours of ordering it (nice one IWOOT!), and filled in a special online webform with the personalized details - featuring my 'mother-in-law' as Alice herself, and the rest of her family as the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, etc. The form is really easy to use, and the book comes to you beautifully arranged. As everyone else has already written in their reviews, this IS a gift that requires some time to put together: you'll need 2-3 weeks before the printer gets the job done and sends the book to you. That being said, it really SHOWS that you put time in, and it makes pretty much the best gift ever for anyone who enjoys classic novels. Once you've filled in the webform, you can also arrange for a couple of extra copies to be printed for the rest of the family. A truly excellent gift, for anyone.
