Storm Glass Tube with Beechwood Base

Keep a close eye on the weather with the contemporary Storm Glass Barometer Tube with Beechwood base from Kikkerland. First invented by Italian physicist Torricelli in 1643, the earliest barometric experiments used a tube of water. Similarly, this updated version of the ‘Admiral Fitzroy’ barometer contains tiny crystals within the glass tube that cluster or settle with changes in temperature and air pressure to forecast the weather. A solid beechwood base securely holds the glass tube.
