Sphero SPRK Edition Robotic Ball - Clear

The Sphero SPRK Edition Robotic Ball will enhance and develop your child’s knowledge of robotics,coding and STEM principles (Science,Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) all through the power of play.The robot consists of a clear polycarbonate shell that protects the advanced tech inside the ball that allows you to see all the workings of the Sphero. Propelled by an electric motor, the robotic ball can roll at speeds up to 4.5 MPH whilst displaying its ultra-bright LEDs in as many colours as you can think of. Designed to be paired with any Bluetooth-enabled device through the Sphero app, the robot can be fully programmed and this is where the learning begins. Simple commands begin with ‘roll’, ‘spin’, ‘flip’, and ‘colour change’ but will soon develop through practice and experience into imaginative adventures.

Coding is a core component of UK Primary schools ICT curriculum with the aim to "ensure that all pupils can understand and apply the fundamental principles and concepts of computer science".
