The Good Ols Days
5Well, as soon as I set this Black Retro Telephone up and heard it ring I was back living with my parents. It was so good remembering the days when you could feel a phone in your hand and the real plus was I could hear the person at the other end. To me this phone is better than any Tardis because all you have to do is, hear it ring, close your eyes and you're back in the 60s and 70s. It's great.

5Just had to have one of these!..yes it takes a bit longer to dial but what's the rush?!..winding the old dial round one number at a time, wierd in todays busy world but very satisfying. Looks well retro & sounds brilliant when she rings!...didn't appreciate it in the 70's but it was definately a design classic...go on treat yourself!

5I bought this purely on a whim, but, I have to say I love it. The phone has pride of place in my hallway (that's where phones like this used to be kept!). All the electronic ringers on the DECT phones are silenced as this is the only bell I want to hear. I can hear it all over the house - even in the garden. Everyone who visits asks about it, wants to play with it and wants to phone it just to hear the bell. It works with SKY. (A year on and I still jump a little if I'm near it when it rings!)

5This is an excellent phone. It really is just like the old ones. It looks great, sounds great and using the dial is great. I have Virgin and it does work on my line. The best thing though is the ring...... Such memories. Everyone who visits loves it. Buy one You will not be disappointed.

2HI. i have one of these phones, and while i know they are retro etc i don't like the quiet volume on the earpiece. i could hardly hear the person on the other end. i have another retro phone that is of modern design in that it has modern innards, so the earpiece is louder, i expected that from this item, though didn't get it.

5Bought this phone as a birthday gift for someone. It arrived on the day of her birthday beautifully giftwrapped. All she had to do was plug it into the wall and it was ready to use. The reception is perfectly clear and as well working perfectly it also looks great and makes a nice addition to the living room!

2This phone is retro in everything - including the sound quality. The line is incredibly crackly to all callers. This is more an ornament than a feature though. The ring is a traditional bell ring though which is great and makes it worth its while as a second phone.....

5I bought this as a birthday present for my daughter. She loves it, as do all her family. Grandaughter loves it because there was one like it in "Dr. Who". Everybody wants to use it. I, however, am so old that I remember phone models way before that one. But it is the most pleasing shape of all past phones and great fun for the young to use. The phone was delivered very quickly and was well packed. Thank you!

5I ordered this phone at 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon, by Thursday lunch time it had been delivered, not something I was expecting, but incredible!!! It's absolutely gorgeous to look at and sounds amazing, Grandparents say it's exactly like one they had. Now, if only I didn't have to wait until my Birthday for it to have pride of place in my room! I want it now. :>
