What happens on the day?

This experience entitles two adults entry to The View from The Shard and a three-course lunch or dinner at one of two Marco Pierre White restaurants, London Steakhouse Co. - City or London Steakhouse Co. - Chelsea.

On arrival at The View from The Shard at your allotted time, youll go through security before making your way to the first of two high-speed kaleidoscopic lifts that will take you up this spectacular building. After only a few seconds, youll step out onto Level 69 where the view is revealed and London opens out before you. Take some time to enjoy this astonishing 360-degree view across the city, where the past, present and future of London will be unfurled beneath you, brought to life through multimedia displays.

Then its time to ascend to Level 72. At 800ft this floor is the highest public level of The Shard and it is here that youll be exposed to the elements, with sounds of the city rising up from below you. Look up and marvel at the stunning shards of glass that form the top of this beautiful skyscraper. Youll be feeling on top of the world as you gaze out across the whole of London and beyond, with unobstructed views of the citys famous landmarks all around you. As part of this experience, youll also enjoy a three-course meal at a Marco Pierre White restaurant. Available for lunch or dinner, this fantastic meal includes a refreshing cocktail each on arrival. Award-winning chef Marco Pierre White has created a dining revolution in the capital with his high-quality steaks, roast meats, fish, mouth-watering starters and a range of timeless puddings. Youll choose three courses from a set lunch or dinner menu created by the famous chef himself, with three choices available on each course. Both London Steakhouse Co. restaurants hold the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award 2017, awarded to properties that consistently achieve outstanding reviews on TripAdvisor. The London Steakhouse Co. City is the most recommended Steakhouse in the UK on TripAdvisor.

Side orders are not included with your main and are available at an extra charge. Typical sides might be French Fries, Creamed Potatoes, Crispy Onion Rings or Seasonal Green Vegetables and start at £4.75. Tea and coffee are also available at an extra charge.

Availability

Your vouchers are valid until the date printed on them, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

The View from The Shard can be booked seven days a week at an allotted time.

To reduce queues and ensure the best possible visitor experience for everyone, admission to The View will only be valid on the date and time stated on your ticket once a booking has been made with Virgin Experience Days Ltd.

Tickets for The View are non-transferable and non-refundable

The View opens at 10.00. Last entry varies depending on the time of year - please check for exact timings when booking. Bookings can be made between 24 hours and four months in advance, subject to availability, with a valid voucher.

The Voucher has a voucher number and a pin number which needs to be quoted when booking. Your e-ticket which will be sent as confirmation of your booking will include the 16 digit confirmation number to gain access into the attraction or The View from The Shard ticket.

A standard visit to The Shard lasts approximately 1 hour, allowing ample time for you to relax and enjoy the city skyline at your leisure as there is no time restriction on your visit.

Three-Course Meal at Marco Pierre White's London Steakhouse Co.

Your meal is available seven days a week.

Monday to Thursday: 12.00 to 15.00 for lunch and 17.30 to 22.30 for dinner

Friday and Saturday: 12.00 to 17.15 for lunch and 17.30 to 22.30 for dinner

Sunday: 12.00 to 17.15 for lunch and 17.30 to 22.00 for dinner

Please note that for Friday and Saturday evening bookings reservations can only be made within 48 hours prior to the experience (availability for dinner on Friday and Saturday is released at 09.00 on Wednesday and Thursday respectively of that week). Some date restrictions, including Valentines Day and over the Christmas and New Year period may apply.

Please allow approximately 1 hour 45 minutes for your meal.

Please note there is a 48 hour cancellation policy that applies to all meal reservations, after which time you won't be able to amend or cancel a reservation.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and well send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
