The solution they found was some light snacks and a pot of tea - once a luxury, now an integral part of British culture.

The Traditional Afternoon Tea for Two is available at a range of charming venues across the country and consists of a pleasing array of sandwiches, scones, cakes and of course, tea. The type of sandwiches and cakes may differ per venue but you are sure to enjoy a fantastic selection of fancies whether you choose an elegant manor house in the country or a contemporary city hotel. Share this experience with someone special and enjoy the mouth-watering treats and relaxing atmosphere that your chosen venue has to offer.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at your chosen venue you and a lucky friend will be directed to your table where you will be served a sumptuous Afternoon Tea for Two. Sit back and relax and enjoy taking in the surroundings as you tuck in to the display of treats before you.

Your experience will include an afternoon tea of scones with cream and jam, delicate finger sandwiches, cakes and of course tea, however the exact content of this indulgent experience will vary depending on location. Spend your afternoon at one of the participating hotels and spoil yourself with the decadent treats they have to offer.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 9 months from the date of issue

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

Participant guidelines

• Please note some of the venues are adult only and a minimum age of 21 applies
• Minimum age: 18 at Chateau La Chaire
• At all others under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult (except Coombe Abbey where under 16s must be accompanied)
• Disabled access varies depending on hotel chosen, please check when booking
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location

Availability

This experience is available all year round. Some date exclusions may apply. Please contact the supplier at the time of booking for updated availability.

We recommend you book at least two weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. This is only a guideline and we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on your voucher. Pre-booking is essential and all reservations are subject to availability.

Please allow approximately 1 hour 30 minutes for the full experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
