London’s preeminent Asian fusion restaurant has combined their expertise with Akashi-Tai, the world’s premium sake producer, for an amazing Sushi and Sake Masterclass for Two at inamo, Covent Garden. Grab a guest and get ready to don your aprons and learn how to prepare tasty nigiri and maki, alongside sampling both hot and cold sakes.

Experts in both fields will be on hand to explain the history, culture and techniques that go into producing great sushi and sake. You’ll prepare a nigiri set before turning your hand to salmon maki. You’ll then head over to the bar area where you’ll be introduced to the sake making process. Taste four sakes from the high-quality Akashi-Tai range: including a Daiginjo (premium sake), hot Honjozo, Ume Shu (sweet plum sake) and Ninki-Ichi (sparkling premium sake).

What happens on the day?

Upon arrival at inamo, Covent Garden, you’ll be greeted by your expert instructor and shown through to your sushi making area. Learn the techniques and get hands on as you prepare a nigiri set and salmon maki.

Sushi prepared, you’ll head over to the bar area for your sake masterclass. You’ll be able to tuck into the fruits of your labour while being educated on the history and techniques of sake and taste four delicious, varied sakes.

Availability

The experience is available on selected Tuesdays throughout the year. Excluded dates include 14 February, 25 and 31 December.

We recommend you book four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available.. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 3 hours for the full experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
