Introductory Flying Lesson for One

A 30 minute flying lesson overseen by a highly-skilled instructor

Enjoy the ultimate thrill ride with this simply incredible 30 minute flying lesson! Begin your day with a pre-flight briefing with your CAA approved instructor who will teach you the basics of the flight controls and help you plan flight routes before you climb into the cockpit to start your lesson! Ascend into the clouds and discover the thrills of flying as you soar to phenomenal heights whilst being watched over by your instructor who will teach you the skills and manoeuvres you need to master the art of flight. On arrival to the flight training centre you will be greeted with by your own pilot who will take you for your lesson. There will be a short discussion and demonstration of the principles of flight and the controls of the plane. You will also plan the route you will take during your flight. Then it's time to jump into the pilot's seat, watching as your instructor takes off and runs through the controls of the cockpit. You will be guided through basic manoeuvres and will be in complete control of the aircraft for most of the flight (under close dual control supervision). Your lesson will last around 30 minutes with a flight time of about 25 minutes 'chock to chock', ie. from when the plane starts to taxi, to when it switches off at the end of the lesson. Please note, for the experience in Wrexham (Hanger 406) the minimum age is 13, the maximum height is 6'5”and the maximum weight is 17st. For locations in Haverfordwest Airport, Humberside Airport, Hinton Airport, Enstone Aircraft, Durham Tees Valley Airport, Blackpool Airport and Beverley Airport, the minimum age is 14, the minimum height is 4'6", the maximum height is 6'4" and the maximum weight is 15st. All dates are subject to availability.
