Fly like a Fighter Pilot (Weekday Experience)

Take to the sky with an ex-military instructor with this flying experienceBlast into the sky for an adrenaline rush you'll never forget with this exhilarating and unique flying experience. Perfect for anyone who has ever wanted to fly a plane, this exciting treat will see you in the cockpit of a Bulldog aircraft with a real ex-military instructor! Your instructor will show you everything you need to fly like a fighter pilot, from take-off and turning to a variety of manoeuvres €“ including barrel rolls, loops and the Cuban eight. Upon arrival you will be kitted out in a high quality military flying suit, before receiving a detailed safety briefing from your ex-military instructor. Once you've taken your seat in the cockpit of the Bulldog aircraft you'll get to take off and practice basics such as turning, ascending and descending. Your instructor will then show you what the plane is capable of €“ demonstrating a variety of amazing manoeuvres €“ before handing the controls back to you!

You'll be able to try a variety of aerobatic manoeuvres, including the loop, aileron roll, stall turn, barrel roll, Cuban 8, slow roll, vertical roll and derry turn. After you have performed these exhilarating manoeuvres your instructor will talk you through your return to base. Your experience will end with a debrief, where you will receive a flight certificate and discover the number of Gs you have pulled.Your voucher is valid for 10 months. Please note: this experience is available weekdays only. Your experience will last approximately 2 -3 hours: flying time is around 35 minutes and briefing time is around 30 minutes. Suitable for ages 12 and over. Weight limit is 17 stone. Minimum height 5ft. Maximum height 6ft 5". It is essential that you wear light flat shoes with good grips - trainers are ideal. You will be required to complete a medical declaration before flying. Participants over the age of 61 must produce a doctor's note confirming your suitability to fly. The operators are fully insured for both pubic liability and personal risks. Flying is subject to weather conditions and you must call the weather line before departing for your experience.
