Falconry Taster

Get close to these magnificent creatures and learn the skills required to handle our feathered friends. Encounter the fascinating bond that can develop between this fearsome bird and the handler. This Falconry Taster experience lets you see the incredible bird-of-prey up close and youll get the chance to handle the animal yourself during this hands-on and informative 3 hour experience. You will witness an amazing display as you see them in flight, and bring your camera to capture the awesome moments.

You will receive expert tuition from a qualified bird handler, as well as in depth information about the background of these predatory creatures. They will demonstrate the necessary skills required to safely manage the falcon. This fantastic taster experience will be a joy for bird lovers or anyone with an interest in these powerful creatures.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at the venue you will be met by an expert handler who will provide you with some background information on the elusive predators. As well as learning about their behaviours and characteristics you may also get the chance to handle the birds yourself.

Then you will be treated to a fantastic flying display. Dont forget to take your camera to get some photos of them in flight. Youll also have the opportunity to have some photos taken of yourself with the birds. It will be an unforgettable experience but its even better to have some images to show all your friends.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 9 months from the date of issue

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

Participant guidelines

• Under 16s must be accompanied by a participating parent/guardian
• You should be in reasonable health and have a reasonable level of fitness as some walking may be involved
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location

Availability

Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

The experience is run on selected weekends March to October.

We recommend you book at least eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

You should allow approximately 3 hours for the whole experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and well send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
