The two of you will really enjoy this interesting and fun Design Your Own Perfume experience, you’ll have a choice of 21 locations and will each head home with a 20ml atomiser filled with your own unique fragrance.

Start your class with a perfume consultation alongside a trained perfume expert - you’ll learn a little about the construction of perfumes including why some scents last longer than others and why perfumes change throughout the day. This knowledge will then be used to help you construct your own fragrance. Your signature scent will be formed from your choice of 21 exquisite blends. You can include as many of them as you like and each of the available blends have been designed by a master perfumer famed for creating many of the fragrances that sell on the high street shelves, so your design is sure to smell amazing and be of the best quality possible.

What's Included?

What happens on the day?

The two of you will join your class and meet your guide before the lesson starts. You’ll be coached through the sampling of the different blends available for you to choose and mix and you will learn the basics of perfume making.

Once you have decided on which blends you wish to use for your own scent you’ll have the opportunity to name your unique fragrance and will watch as the consultant puts it all together for you. The two of you will go home that day, each with an atomiser filled with 20ml of your unique scents, and following the experience you'll receive an e-certificate of registration each.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 9 months from the date of issue

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

Under 16s must be accompanied by a full paying adult

The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location

Availability

Availability will vary by venue but generally the experience is available throughout the year and most venues operate from Monday to Saturday. Please check further details when booking.

It is recommended that you book at least six to eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow approximately 2 hours for the full experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.

If/when you are within 3 months of the voucher expiry date and there are still restrictions in place, Virgin Experience Days are offering free extensions to allow the customer to use at a later date.
