Kitted out in a full 1940's flying suit, you'll enjoy a thrilling hour-long flight over the practice area used by the original Dambuster Squadron in a 1940s Tiger Moth aircraft! You'll take in breathtaking views of the famous Derwent Dam, and you'll even have the opportunity to take control of this historic aircraft! What's more, your experience includes a guided tour of the aircraft hangar for you and your guests, as well as a luxury framed experience photograph and a personal experience DVD featuring actual footage of you on your Dambuster Run Mission!Upon arrival you will be given a full briefing by your pilot. You will be given a 1940's flying suit, goggles and leather cap to wear and taken to the aircraft for photo opportunities pre-flight with your guests.

The instructor will take you for a flight over the practice area used by the original 167 Dambuster Squadron, then, as part of the crew, you will be given the option to take to the controls of an original 1940 Tiger Moth aircraft, as you recreate the famous run over Derwent Dam! Upon landing you will be given more photo opportunities and de-brief by your pilot. Guests are welcome to be included in the photos and given the opportunity to ask any questions to the crew. You and your guests will be given a guided aircraft hangar tour and presented with your framed photograph of your experience and certificate. What's more, you'll even receive a personal experience DVD featuring actual footage of you on your Dambuster Run Mission!Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. Flights are available from March until Mid-October only. Minimum age is 13 years. Maximum weight is 18.5st. This experience is not suitable for pregnant women or those with back problems. The facility has disabled access. You are advised to wear trousers, a long sleeved top (jumper in cool weather) and closed, low heel shoes. Please note flights are weather dependent. If your flight is cancelled, an alternative date will be offered. You are required to contact the operator by 9am on the morning of your flight to be advised. Only the participant will fly the plane €“ however guests are welcome to join the guided aircraft hangar tour and may be included in photos. The participant and guests will receive a complimentary cup of coffee/tea or glass of fruit juice. Please book well in advance to avoid disappointment. All dates are subject to availability.
