A service normally reserved for the professional cricketer, Millichamp & Hall have created custom bats for international stars including Tendulkar, Compton and Leach. You’ll be immersed in the whole process, starting with a tour of the workshop, before choosing your very own cleft of English willow.

You’ll not only decide on the profile and weight of your new bat, you’ll also be involved in the finishing and polishing of the completed blade – you can even apply your new labels to the finished product. Get ready for your new dream bat, made just the way you want it.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at Millichamp & Hall, you’ll be warmly welcomed and begin with a tour of the workshop, before getting started on creating your custom bat. Your decisions are tantamount to the process, and you’ll be choosing the likes of profile and weight, as well as your own cleft of English willow.

You’ll even be involved in the finishing and polishing of the completed blade. You’ll come away with a stunning, tailor-made cricket bat to keep forever.

Minimum age: 12 (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)

Availability

• Vouchers are valid for 9 months from the date of issue
• The experience is available on selected dates starting at 10.00 and 14.00.
• We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
• Please allow 2 to 3 hours for the full experience.

What should I wear?

Please dress appropriately for the weather as you will be in a workshop.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
