Received two of these one for me and one for a friend...we both love the variety of the games and how it looks with the option to use just as an ornament..we recommend.
Retro gold
Bought two of these as Christmas gifts, one for my 14yr old son and one for a 30yr old friend, both loved them and I actually want one myself! So portable and fun. Highly recommended for all ages!
Good But Not Great
I was rather hoping the games selection on this console was more of the actual favourites we all have come to love if you grew up in the 8-Bit era of gaming but the selection of games isn't horrendous to be fair but could be better. I also thought this model came with the mini/micro usb power supply socket in the back which I had seen from another seller. This one is solely battery operated but I'm sure I can get over that as it does take me back to my youth each time I switch it. All in all a good product even with my 'Cons' comments and I still may consider getting another with multiple games on. I'm no to sure about the single game option consoles of this mini type thought for the price.
Not worth it
Got one for Christmas, but thankfully I had the brains to open and check it prior. First one I got sent was defective, full of scratches and fingerprints. Definitely used. Got sent another, again, scratched but at least was operational, and since I needed it for under the tree, I kept it. - This is advertised as "plug and play". Far from it. + Good variety of knock off games, split by genre, so you can play depending on mood. - Needs 3AA batteries that drains them faster than you consume an ice cold beer on a hot summer day. - Each time you want to exit the game, you have to reset, ie, muted music starts again on full blast Overall good fun, but nothing more than that. I would recommend it as add on gift or stocking filler more than an actual gift.
