Andrew Barlow is a 20-something explorer and landscape photographer from the north west of England. Growing up on a working farm before relocating to the leafy Cheshire countryside, al fresco is very much in his blood. With a passion for the great outdoors instilled in him by his late Grandad, Andrew's wanderlust has seen him travel across the UK and Europe in search of awe-inspiring natural backdrops, majestic meteorological phenomena and historical highlights.
Between the mountain and me is a collection of those moments suspended in time; beautiful still images documenting these adventures, exploits and escapades through the eye of the man behind the lens.
Capturing the sheer essence of that alluring feeling we all get when venturing out into the unknown is in the forefront of Andrew's work. Battling mother nature and physical challenges in a constant quest for that perfect lighting, angle or once in a life time photograph, Between The Mountain And Me chronicles those ups and downs in every sense. From the great peaks of Snowdina and the central eastern Alps, to the vistas and vast valleys of Italy and Switzerland; share in the journey and exertions of a passionate; determined creative, daring to push himself out of his comfort zone in a bid to seize a stunning shot.
