This IS the drone you're looking for.
I'd like to start my review with a shout out to the site itself. The service and delivery speed has always been superb. So, the drone itself. Let's start with the stunning packaging. The outer box and the inner collectors box is just beautiful and screams quality. I was hesitant and almost heeded the enclosed card which reads "open this collectors box if you dare". Of course my hesitation didn't last long and I carefully cut the wax (Yes wax!) Seals. The next part was like a geeky dream come true. All I will say is, film the opening. Savour it. It's sublime. Now I will say I haven't actually flown it yet as I forgot to pick up some AA batteries for the controller. But I have seen them flown and know there shouldn't be any issues on that front. The design is spot on, and the way the battery fits into the drone is perfect and does not spoil the aesthetic. The controller even has a handy screw driver slotted into it! Needless to say I'm extremely impressed and even more so because of the reduced price which always hindered me buying one before. I've now ordered the x wing so I can try out the battle system. I shall post a flight review on that one when it arrives.
Great fun from unboxing to flying.
This little Quad is fantastic fun. If you are a Star Wars fan you will love the whole experience of this little quadcopter. Sliding the box out of its outer carton and seeing the 3D tie fighter on the front of the box and the wax seals on the sides its just great. Once you pop the seals off the box (dont break them they are fantastic.) and you slide the lid off and hear the music! The audio from the movies and the lights lighting up the quadcopter under its little plastic display box. ALL GREAT. Once unpacked and charged up the controller plays music and more audio clips when you fly the quad, do flips and shoot lasers at your friends quadcopters. If its raining, but you still want to play, get the app and connect your smart phone and go through the training levels and all the challenges. This feature is also great for new or first time quadcopter pilots. The training helps you get to grips with how the little quads fly. These are just fantastic little quads great fun for all :)
