Undersea Encounter is a natty and fun aquarium incorporating an underwater viewing scope. The scope works like a reverse periscope - a system of lenses and mirrors give you the feeling that you are observing from inside a mini submersible. Pointing deep into the tank, the periscope lets you inspect your fish at their own level, and a fish feeder has been positioned right by the scope's lens, so you can watch your fish feed. Use slow gentle movements so you don't create turbulence in the water and disturb or frighten your fish.
To feed your fish, remove the feeding pod and twist open the basket, insert a small amount of food - then replace the bottom. Place the feeding pod into the hole in the lid and watch the feeding frenzy commence (it may not be like tossing seals to great white sharks, but it's less mean and more fun).
This Aquarium is most suitable to cold water fish, such as goldfish and guppies, however mixing different types of fish is not recommended as it can cause problems, unless you're making a bouillabaisse.
