The cave contains the One Ring which sits on a small pedestal which is where Bilbo finds it, recently lost by Gollum. The Riddles for the Ring set contains a small boat that Bilbo, with the Sting sword in hand, can use to escape from Gollum with the ring in his possession before Gollum finds it again! - R.K.
