When it comes to scuba diving, Bond has the right idea. Who wants to waste their energy swimming down into the murky depths when you can use a Bladefish to do all the hard work? These handy gizmos have a built-in propeller that will pull you along underwater, secret agent style, all you need to do is take in the wonderful sights the ocean has to offer - and remember to breathe occasionally.

There are 3 different models available, but if you're an experienced diver we'd heartily recommend the Bladefish 5000, with 3 speeds, up to 2 hours of battery life and suitable for use in depths of up to 50m. They're made from high-grade polycarbonate (whatever that is, we're sure it's good), and the batteries incorporate a fancy multicell monitoring chip to maximise output and efficiency.

It's an ideal holiday companion - just charge it up and dive in. It only takes 2 hours to rapid-charge to 80% capacity (and only 1 hour for the 5000 model), so there's no overnight charging or pacing around while you get enough juice for five minutes' playtime. It's fine to go on the plane, and you can even disable the circuitry entirely so that it doesn't upset any vital instruments (better safe than sorry). Best of all they're wonderfully light, the heaviest model weighing in at a mere 5kg, so no need to stress about excess luggage charges on your way to the Med.
