Charmingly dubbed the "Butcher Bird," the Focke-Wulf 190 was the Luftwaffe's most potent piston-engine fighter of WWII. With its very authentic two-tone grey paint scheme and realistic scale decals, this fully aerobatic Charge-and-Fly reproduction (complete with the notorious exhaust residue that was very commonly found on the full-scale fighters) Focke-Wulf is an RC dream. Getting airborne is about as simple as can be, just attach the wing and tail, connect the battery to the charger, and in as little as 40 minutes, you're flying. As with all RCs it's a very good idea to ensure that the first charge is a good and long one (a good few hours) as it'll give you much more flying time later on - after which you can charge it up in just 40 minutes. Once in the air, you can choose between two flight modes - A or B - with just the flip of a transmitter switch. Mode "A" limits the amount of control surface travel for beginner pilots so manoeuvres are smooth and manageable. Mode "B" grants an experienced pilot maximum control surface movement for high-energy manoeuvres, such as loops, victory rolls, Cuban-8's, and more. With a wingspan of a metre and a transmitter range of 2500ft you're going to need some space to fly this, and once airborne you'll be in heaven, because boy does zis look hot or vot?
For Advanced Pilots:
More advanced park flyer pilots will be pleased to know that the Focke-Wulf 190s receiver/ESC module and two servos can be removed and used in other speed 370 or 400-class electric aircraft. That list includes V-tails and delta wings, thanks to selectable control mixing in the receiver. The receiver is also equipped with an X-Port connector, but not an external port, and the speed controls auto-cut-off can be adjusted to work with 3-cell Li-Po battery packs.
Don't forget to check out the P-51D Mustang if you're into doing some serious dogfighting.

Customer Reviews for RC Focke-Wulf 190 Plane
I think that the RC Focke-Wulf 190 has a very high level of detail with the pilot, the Luftwaffe insignia, the yellow spiral on the nose cone and the camouflage.
