The Horse Racing Challenge is the first fully remote control horse racing game that puts you in the riding seat. Each horse and rider is charged up from its own R/C unit and controlled by infra red. First up you build your racing ground, complete with rails, flags and distance markers. Then you place your bets, there's a betting mat and plenty of fake wads of cash. Then the race is on, you control your mounts with left and right movement as they frantically, and somewhat comically, gallop along. What you'll find hard to control however is your excitement and the howls of laughter and encouragement from the crowd. This is one of the best indoor R/C games we've ever seen. Whether you're racing with two riders, or you opt to buy an extra black and brown filly for a full on four runner flat race, it's a superb audience participation game with lots of shouting, betting, cries of 'foul play' and general racing fervour.
