Despite it requiring some assembly it really isn't too daunting a task (and half the point of it is the fun in building it anyway) and the simple manual that has been included provides a great opportunity to teach junior all about following instructions to the letter to achieve the best results. Alas, you will have to provide your own paper aeroplane, but seeing as everyone has their own top secret design, passed down generation to generation, it's probably for the best.
