This crab likes the dark!
We're constantly on the look out for new and exciting robots, which is why we've fallen head over heels for the Hexbug Crab.
It has the added bonus of a light sensor. It won't run away from obstacles but for some reason it just can't stand the light, so it'll scuttle away to hide in a dark corner when provoked. Once they have found the dark they remain motionless until they are disturbed. These funky little critters make great little desktop friends.

Fun
The Hexbug Crab is a very funny product. It's small, neat and looks great, plus the dog can't work it out. It doesn't work too well on carpet but it is designed for a desk or hard surface.

These little Hexbug Crabs are amazing, they move so well and behave in a manner that befits their description. I had actually bought them for my children but kind of fell in love with them myself! The only downside are the batteries, how well they last and the price of replacements. That is the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. They really are good though, beter than the other Hexbugs!

This Hexbug Crab is a nice little robot. My daughter loves to put it out on the laminate floor and freak her mother out with it.

Crazy crab entertains
Ordered this for Christmas as a stocking filler for my 15 year old son. He loved it and it kept him occupied and intrigued as to how it worked. A great item for someone old enough to appreciate it, and someone young enough to be fascinated by it. Highly recommended.
