I had some fantastic fun with this gadget and had everyone from my son to my mates swearing at their TVs. My son had his ready to go back to the retailer until I told him what was going on,he now has one and loves it as he turns the big screen off in our club when it looks like any team might score against his much to the annoyance of their supporters. A must have!

The fun is short lived...

I have purchased two of these Telly Terminates and both times they have been a lot of fun play. I have used them to turn off televisions in pubs and shop windows. Everyone loves it!

It's good but not perfect...

This device only seems to work on flat-panel (LCD or Plasma) screens. I have not managed to get it to work on older CRT TVs. However, I have not found a flat-panel TV that won't be turned off by it! Can cause interference with other IR devices as well, but it has a good range and is discrete enough to not attract attention. Lots of fun to be had with this!

Let Down

How annoying! Did not do what it said on the tin, we tried it on our telly and it worked once after several tries, even that once wasn't instant there was quite a delay before the tv went off, hate complaining but........

Doesn't work on my own TV, but did work on the in-laws (accidentally). Put my hand in my pocket and managed to turn their tv off. Haven't tried it on any other TVs yet, but have noticed that it interferes with a couple of other infra-red controlled items in the house as well.

Honestly? Not very good!

Bought this as i thought it would be quite fun, tried it on my home telly, it worked after around 2 minutes, i had forgot i had pressed the button by the time the telly turned off. Tried on a few friends tellys, did NOT work, it works on about 1 in 7 or 8 tellys, i went into electrical store with around 80 tellys, only 2 went off. Would not recommend @ all. GREAT WEBSITE, Let down by the product!

I uesd it at first on my own t.v but it didnt turn it off so when i went out to pc world i tough id try it out a it worked i turn off two tvs at once i was having real fun with it a person was watching one of the tvs and i turned it off on him he looked dumb founded he didntknow what happened all u got to do is make sure it is hidden and ucan hve alot of fun

Telly too sensitive

If you put it at your keys the device to terminate tellies will stop because it can't stand to be at a key chain or to put it it's too sensitive and will stop working. The light is much stronger

Worst purchase ever

On receipt, I tried this out on my own TV. It turned the TV off,... eventualy, had to hold and point for approx. 1 min. The second time I tried it on the same TV it didn`t wiork at all. I Bought it to turn off the TV in my local. Tried it on two TV`s there,... didn`t work at all. The torch works,
