We've seen some key ring pens in our time (and who hasn't?) but they tend to be tiny Lilliputian affairs that are almost impossible to write legibly with. Not so the Telescopic Pen. The designers have kept the handy pocket size of most key ring pens and added a cunning twist - the pen is telescopic. No larger than a door key when closed, the pen really is quite discreet, but once unscrewed from your key ring and fully extended you'll have a full sized pen at your disposal. Surrounded by pens and keyboards at work, you know for sure that once you're out and about, pens are like hens' teeth. Now you'll always have a pen at your fingertips, that you won't have 'left in your other coat/bag/trousers' and that won't get half inched by some wandering scribe. With the Telescopic Pen you'll always be prepared, no matter where you are.

Telescopic Pen
This Telescopic Pen is well worth buying, neat and robust. It also writes well and comes with refills, cheap enough to give away for Christmas.

Don't waste your money
I bought this as a gift for my dad. After spending over half a day trying to unscrew the pen from the lid, only part of it came out, meaning it couldn't be screwed back in. Poorly made, I will be returning this. Very disappointed. I wouldn't even give this one star, but wasn't allowed to leave 0 out of 5 as a rating.

This pen comes in handy, even in the car. Doesn't get in the way of the keys either!

Awesome buy!
The pen was a little bit stiff at first, but is absolutely fantastic. I always like having a pen on me, and this way I know I have one. Took it down to the pub the other night, my friends were very impressed. In all honesty, it is a very good buy.

A good bloke gift when you run out of ideas
I bought this nifty little pen for my husband as part of his Bourne themed 40th present. He loved it and so does everyone who he whips it out in front of. Perfect little gift for the man who never has a pen with him.

Ouch!
One snag, getting the pen out from its lid! Very very stiff, tough for anyone with limited dexterity. Useful though.

good idea badly executed
I bought one of these for my dad and one for my brother. My brothers broke almost immediately as the cap is too tight and pulled the whole thing apart when opening it. My dads one seems to be okay but it's early days.

Brilliant gift
My brother in law has every gadget imaginable so finding him something unique is always tricky. This fits the bill perfectly though and he's never without a pen!

Practicality perfect
I bought this pen as a gift for a nurse, as it is easily secured to uniform, easily cleaned/sterilised and small and compact. Yet this pen is perfect for everyone. It is smalll enough to fit in a wallet or purse. Can be easily attatched to something easy to find in the depths of a handbag(eliminates the emptying of bags on tables ladies!) All round a useful practical gift!

brilliant
As a writer I am often struck with an idea wandering around the streets or sitting in a cafe. And as an absent minded writer, this phenomenon often occurs when I have forgotten/lost/misplaced/drained my pen. The telescopic pen has solved that problem. It's tiny. Smaller than my keys. And when extended, it looks snazzy, writes well and feels comfortable in the hand (if a bit thin, but you can't have everything). It comes with three replacement ink cartridges which is a definite plus. I'm just concerned what will happen when I finish all three. I love it. My friends are envious of it. And for the price, it has to be one of the neatest things on IWOOT. Keep it up guys.

Great idea but one big snag
This pen was fantastic, so handy for making essential notes on the move. Unfortunately my pen detached itself from the holder and is now lost. You really should buy this product but to avoid dissapointment make sure you take extra care to secure it.

Handy Pen
Love this and will recommend but make sure it's screwed up tight so that it doesn't work loose.

clever AND sweet
The pen has a slightly annoyingly thin when extended, but comes with 3 replacement nibs. A good buy for someone who never has a pen so always steals mine! - NO Longer

Good emergency pen
Yet another really useful key-ring accessory from IWOOT (I've got no room for keys on my key ring now...).The telescopic pen is good quality, and works well for occasional use. Not as comfortable to hold as a normal pen so you'd be struggling to write a novel, but then that's not what its for!

Actually quite handy
I ordered this because it looked quite funny but it actually turned out to be very handy (most of my gadgets are just for fun and I get bored of them after a few weeks) I keep it on my keys to make sure I never leave home without it. I would definitely recommend one.

Fantastic Gadget!
Got it in the post - Immediately attached it to my keys - then went looking for opportunities to use it! No bigger than a key, light and not cumbersome. The refills are a nice addition too - fantastic buy! Please note Its good for jointing and small note taking (numbers, names, etc) not (really)for essay writing!

Love this to bits
It's small, it's neat, it's well made, it's the perfect size when 'zoomed' out, it comes with refills (genius) and it's a great price. Probably the best thing I've bought in a while. Make sure you screw it back in whilst it's extended, as if you try to do it when it's contracted it just spins (rather obviously as it's a telescopic pen). Now I never have to hunt for a pen to do the crossword with!
