This is a fabulous thing, if you love pineapple but like me hate the work involved to get to the good stuff, this is the tool for you, lop the top off and a few twists and you've a spiral of pineapple and a nice pineapple shell ready for a cocktail and a little monkey to hang off

Awesome Christmas present

I bought this for my mum as she loves fresh pineapple and I remembered her spending more time chopping it than eating it not to mention the mess. It's PERFECT. Her words. She keeps showing me how easy and quick it is, and "it's so useful to make fruit salads" and "you can even serve the fruit salad in the empty pineapple". It's simple it works well and it'll make your life easier. No more excuse for buying the canned stuff!

I cannot recommend this product highly enough. It works like a dream, turning the coring of a pineapple into a 20 second job. There's limited wastage of the fruit, it's easy to tidy up afterwards, and the corer itself is really easy to wash. Plus you can use the hollowed out pineapple for presentation if you like!

Great purchase

It's easier the second attempt. Even easier if you cut the pineapple both at the top and bottom. Although this method won't enable you to have a cocktail in the shell, but try infusing the core 'lolly stick' in a bowl with your beverage. Serve as a punch instead.

Actually this is no joke

I bought this as a bit of a joke, to be honest, as my pregnant wife craves fresh pineapple and always struggles with chopping them up, but I expected it to be tricky and stiff and probably not worth it. But it's not like that at all - it works a treat, it's rugged, it's easy to use, easy to clean and she uses it all the time! Can't fault it.

The pineapple corer is definately a great time saving and efficient way to get the best out of your pinealpple. The best thing is though that you can actually use the skin to fill with dips or crudities if you are having a party.. or go all out and use them for cocktails. This gadget is well worth the money.
