Over the years we've had the pleasure of testing quite a number of portable speakers designed especially for MP3 players, and this is one of the best. The bass on these is fantatic, and we're pretty sure it has everything to do with the spring that connects the two speakers together.
The design of the speaker is simple enough - 2 speakers connected together and an input to plug in your MP3 player (or walkman if you're in a retro mood). Twist the speakers anti-clockwise though and the spring will push them apart, leaving a concertina like chamber between the two speakers. This is where the magic happens - suddenly your tunes go from sounding just "ok" to "wow, that's quite impressive considering its size - I wonder if it's the spring that makes the difference?"
As travel speakers go you would be hard pushed to find any that match the sound quality of the Spring Speaker. It has a built in rechargeable battery which can be charged via USB and a full charge lasts about four hours, so while you're on your travels you don't need to worry about filling up the landfills with your spent batteries.
Spring into the future with the Spring Speaker.

Spring speaker SPRUNG
Now whilst i wasnt expecting dolby pro logic surround quality the quality of this was BAAAAD and not in a michael jackson kinda way. Tinny empty.. limp lifeless (in a chetl cole stylee) but seriously my laptop speakers are much better than thisso unfortunately consigned to the deep ark recesses of my draw :(

good things do come in small packages
I saw these on an in-flight mag recently, purchased them when I arrived home and must say that I absolutely love them. For such small speakers there is an excellent sound off them although there is no spearate volume button on them, neither is there a small storage bag to hold speakers and wires which is a pity. Nonetheless I will defo be recommending friends and family to IWOOT!

No volume adjustment on speakers themselves and a lot quieter than expected. They are very small though and look cool. Works best when placed on a surface that reverberates sound well like a ceramic top.

Good value
This was a good product although i was disappointed the fact that it exaggerates about the bass making the springs bounce when unlocked. Still it was a good buy just like all the other products and im so happy that i found this site.
