Pack a new Solar Charger V2 in your briefcase or backpack and never again will you have to face the daunting prospect of being "out of touch". The charger is remarkable in its simplicity; just leave it out in the sun until the capacity indication bar is completely lit up and you're good to go. All that's left to do is for you to plug it into your mobile, MP3/4 player or any other device that charges via USB and wait a couple of hours for the Solar Charger to refuel your gadget. Of course, if you don't want to depend on the weather you can always cheat and top up the charger's internal battery at home by hooking it up via USB to your PC. The power of the sun in the palm of your hand.

Excellent for festivals
I bought this for my boyfriend for when he went to Glasto. We knew that his phone battery wouldn't last for 5 days, and with no electricity to charge from, we thought this was ideal. I cheated a bit and charged it up via USB, but it charged really quickly and a dinky little light tells you the progress. There are loads of different connectors for all sorts of phones and ipods/iphones, which meant that once he charged his phone, he could share the rest of the charge with someone else. It worked a treat and he kept battery for the whole of the 5 days. We've since charged it up in the sun too and it's fabulous. A really useful must-have gadget for those who just can't do without their phones/ipods when out and about.

Exceeds My Expectations!
This is a great little gadget and works fantastically well with my Google Nexus One. I doubted it would work and with the assurance of a refund from IWOOT should it not be compatible I ordered one. I'm glad I did! It does take time to fully charge via the sun but it's more than enough to keep my Nexus One 'alive' until I find a power source. Thank you IWOOT for a beautiful product and FANTASTIC customer service!

The way forward
This is probably the best gadget I've ever bought. Admittedley the charger takes a while to charge by sunlight alone but I charge mine via USB whilst on the computer and then leave in the car window to stay topped up. First class. It's our future, please don't throw it away.

Awesome bit of kit!!
This bit of kit is a fantastic must have for campers, gadget lovers and the environmentally concious. As we humans dissapate our reserves of coal, oil and gas, there needs to be a solution, not to mention our growing need for charging gadgets in the middle of nowhere, and a solar powerstation doesn't fit in your rucksack!! So we have this, clever and innovative, I personally bought one for camping over the summer and have been testing it put already, it's as simple as putting it in the sun (if you can find some on england) and a handy light on the back tells you it's charging, then leaving it there a few hours. It also charges with a USB to the computer, which is handy, meaning you can give it an initial charge before setting out camping, then recharge with the sun next time. There are quite a lot of connectors, most importantly for me is it's comparability with all iPhones at current, there are also Nokia and Samsung connectors, an loads more!! The gadget is around 10cm by 5cm, and one side is mostly taken up by the solar panel, whilst the other side has a charge indicator and a button to operate a solar powered torch on top! So in conclusion, (for those of you who skipped this novel and came to this bit) it's a great gadget, clever, charges easily, fits in your pokey or bag, and works with almost anything!! So buy this if you love gadgets and camping!!

A solar charger that works!
A pleasant surprise; I'd not expected the solar charger to really have much of an impact (and in this weather, I have to be honest and say that I've not had the opportunity to test the 'solar' aspect, other than it being able to 'detect' sunlight/daylight). If there's no sunshine available, you can connect the charger via USB to your PC. It takes a couple of hours to fully charge - an indicator shows when that's complete. I attached the fully charged unit to my fully discharged phone (there are connectors for hundreds of different phones/devices, all itemised), a Nokia E71. After a couple more hours, the charger was fully discharged, and my phone was about 2/3rds full, enough for a couple of days use. Will definitely be taking this on holiday!
