Its a GobStopper alright!

This is a perfect gift for Mothers, fathers, Kids, Boyfriend/Girlfriend, sisters, brothers even grandparents. Speedy delivery, so no need to worry if you forget a special occasion. I got this for my mum for Mothers Day/ her birthday (I’m only 13 so I don’t have a lot of money) This has every sweet known to man. Good old Gobstoppers for your brother. Wine gums for your grandparents. Love hearts for your loved one. Popping candy for your sister. Caramels for your mother. Candy shrimps for your farther. And Candy whistles for yourself. I must say its and amazing product. No regrets (well except it has cost me £35.) I thought it would about the size of the picnic basket, but I was totally wrong. Hope this Helps.

What an amazing array of retro sweets, takes you right back to those long summer days in the 70`s when the sweet shop was your favourite place to go. All the treats in this hamper are just as good as they used to be and i even discovered a few i had forgotten all about. Brilliant.

Disappointingly small

I was impressed with the delivery but overall the hamper itself was disappointingly small. I did not see any dimensions at the time of ordering but think that the cm dimensions are now given under the product details. I wished I had checked. Very pricey for what it is - I would say it was worth more like £15 - trying to work out the cost of the sweets - don't think £35 is really justified. I do hope my friend/childminder will like this though - bought it as a gift to say thank you for helping look after my son after school 2 days a week.

Bought this for my Auntie, thought it'd be a good laugh seeing she was on a diet, however all the candies brought back memories of everyones childhood (me exempt) however it was a great purchase! now my Auntie is showing it off to all her friends, the thatched box could also be used as a picnic box in the future :-D

Great Gift

I bought this as an anniversary gift for a friend, her husband and their son. They LOVED it!! They were particularly pleased with the caramacs!!! A little pricey for sweets but a great present all the same. Delivery was super speedy and they texted with an hour slot so that I could be in to receive it. Fabulous service IWOOT!!!!! Thanks!!!

Great gift

I bought the retro sweet hamper for a friend's 30th birthday and had it delivered to her. So I never saw actually saw it. But her response to me on receiving it was,"You know me so well!" And she'd eaten the lot within a few days!!! So I would say it was a completely successful purchase.

Oh Wowwww!

I have just started a get-fit phase, and see this Retro Sweet Hamper online. I can't buy myself one, so as my nephew's graduation is coming up, I buy the Hamper for him instead as a cool but funky graduation prezzie. He LOOOVED it! Excellent present

I bought this for my boyfriend for valentines day and I'm pleased to report that he absolutely loved it. The whole service was good from start to finish - I was able to change the delivery date to one that was more convenient and was then given a one hour time slot so I didn't have to wait at home all day. The basket is very nice and the sweets will keep my boyfriend occupied for quite a while!

I was given one of these hampers for my 30th Birthday. It was great fun trying my old favourite sweets again, I havent seen some of them in years! The hamper is of a good size and was packed full of lots of different retro sweets. I liked the wham bars and sugar mice best. great little gift

i decided to buy this as a treat for our house, i was worried about the reviews saying it was mostly straw and not that big, but decided to just go for it, it arrived promptly and was not full of straw and was of a good size. my belly aches from eating the sweets though!

Best present I've received in ages!

I was given this hamper as a birthday present and it's fantastic! I couldn't believe how many sweets were in the hamper, with sweets I've not seen for years and years! Kinda assumed it might be a bit overpriced, but was rather unsatisfied when i saw how small the hamper was. there's hardly £10 of sweets here, so i'm assuming the straw was fairly pricey. Not exactly as I remember them....

... but not bad. It could do with the inclusion of a few 'Penny Arrows' and some 'kai-lai' and the Love Hearts of the time didn't look anything like those included. Pity sweet cigarettes have fallen to political correctness - these were absolutely a memory for all of us growing up through the '50s and '60s. Also 'Spanish' in all its shapes and sizes and licquorish root. Anyway, nice try - it'll cause some laughter under the Christmas tree this year! Lovely quality 'hamper', by the way.

The others reviews say it...nice idea, nice sweets but quite tacky presentation with sweets in plastic bags looking like I did them myself and not many for the money....I'm not sure how much a hamper costs but I'm guessing you could put this together in a nicer way for the money....A novelty little gift but not a show stopper!
