CODE: RCSPIT
Scramble, scramble, Jerry's having a party, and we're going to it. Quite possibly the most iconic plane of the 20th Century, the Spitfire Mk IIB is more English than Churchill and a nice cup of tea, and more nostalgic than a pair of slippers (or something). This awesomely gorgeous and massive beauty is the most accurate ready to fly electric RC Spitfire on the market today. It has a host of super-scale detail with it's landmark elliptical wing, dark earth and green camouflage, that instantly memorable blue underside, a beautifully moulded canopy, painted pilot figure, three stack Merlin exhausts and a fully detailed fuselage with moulded panel lines.
Everything needed to get this Spitfire in the air and ready for combat is included in the box, making this model a true "one box" purchase, the model, flight battery, charger, transmitter with two switchable modes, one giving a softer more sedate flying mode and the second giving the Spitfire a fully aerobatic scale performance. Access to the flight battery is via an easy to use battery hatch with a magnetic lock, so there is no need to take off the wing between flights, making the Spitfire ready to "scramble" into low strafing runs and glorious victory rolls at a moments notice.
The most exciting feature of this model is the new ZX10 radio system with 10-bit 1024 step processing. It uses industry standard three wire servos with a six-channel receiver fitted in the model and a transmitter with servo reversing switches. That was a bit technical, but those in the know should be suitably impressed.
The Spitfire Mk II, it's so beautiful it deserves a plinth.
When flying the Spitfire, please ensure that you either are or are flying with an advanced RC flier.

load of rubbish
I bought this item, it looked twisted form the start, but being a mass produced thing I thought it was not designed to rely on being to precise. I had to re-attach the battery leads which had come adrift during transit, but I got it to work. I launched it according to instructions. It climbed stright up, veered to the left, was totally uncontrolable, and smashed into a thousand bits. This is a load of rubbish, please do not waste money on this. I will try to grt my money back, and if I don't I will spread the word. Very dissatisfied Richard

AN AWSOME PIECE OF KIT
I ordered this RC Spitfire for my hubby for Christmas.I went out on a limb with it because I couldn't think of anything to buy him. When it arrived I realised that I need not have worried because it totally rocked! I mean it was so big and beautifully made.If you order one of these you would have to be dead inside to be disappointed. This is the mother of all toys. It's just sad you can't get in and join it on the flight.Enjoyx
