For some, hovercrafts will inevitably bring back memories of depressing holidays to the Isle of Wight. No such dreariness for us, though - it means the unbeatable glee of piloting your very own Hoverpod.

Just like the real thing, the Hoverpod slides around the place by thrusting air downwards and propelling along in zippy fashion, leaving you to use the remote control to guide it past obstacles. Though it won't work on water, you can still have hours of fun as you nimbly guide the Hoverpod across smooth floors and carpets.

Rather neatly, to charge it up all you have to do is connect it to the remote control (powered by 4 AA batteries, not included). A ten minute charge will produce five minutes of hover-time, meaning you don't have to wait too long before manning the controls once more. Why not double the fun and get one in each colour for racing against your mates?
