After a few laps with an instructor in a 'normal' car you will know your way round the track and be familiar with the driving techniques you will need for the really fast stuff - before squeezing yourself into a single seater and really letting rip. If you have never been in a car that does 0-60 in six seconds, you might find your face ends up slightly further back than it once was, but the experience of driving a racing car is one you will always remember.

• You need a full valid UK/European driving licence, which must have been held for at least a year and needs to be shown on the day. If you have points on your licence you may need to check before booking. You may be asked to sign an indemnity on the day.
