After a few laps with an instructor in a 'normal' car you will know your way round the track and be familiar with the driving techniques you will need for the really fast stuff - before squeezing yourself into a single seater and really letting rip. If you have never been in a car that does 0-60 in six seconds, you might find your face ends up slightly further back than it once was, but the experience of driving a racing car is one you will always remember.
