To describe the X Rotor Micro Helicopter - or Pico Z for short - as small is rather like saying that the Pacific Ocean is quite big and somewhat on the damp side. At just 17cm (under 7 inches) long and only 4cm (1.5ins) wide, this gnat of a flying machine is the smallest and lightest miniature R/C Helicopter in the world. How they managed to make this remarkable heli so incredibly small, and yet so astonishingly easy to fly is a mystery, but they did, and we love them for it.
Fitting in the palm of your hand, the Pico Z X Rotor is made from tough expanded Polypropylene foam, and incorporates an auto stability system, making it a breeze to fly, and possibly the most disruptive office toy we've ever seen. A deserving crowd gatherer, the helicopter comes ready to fly with an innovative pre-installed two channel proportional wide beam infra red control system, and a lightweight Lithium Polymer flight battery that'll give you a good ten minutes of flying time between charges. The two powerful micro motors can be recharged in less than half an hour with the portable charger that's part of the control unit.
We've been buzzing it about the office wasting lots of valuable work time, and despite our dodgy flying techniques pranging it into assorted plants and walls, it just seems to bounce off and come back hungry for more - there's even a little blue LED strobe that flashes in-flight for night flying.
This helicopter was born (in so much as an inanimate object can be) to fly, and if it wasn't for the fact that we occasionally have to do some work around here, we'd spend all our time flying missions into alien desk territory. It really is very, very tiny, and utterly un-put-downable.

This is an incredibly fun and easy to control toy. It's much more fun being able to fly from the armchair than in the middle of a field. I have crashed multiple times into objects including my dog and yet is still undamaged. The delivery is excellent, I ordered it and it was here the next day before I awoke. Good job IWOOT!

This is possibly the best thing I have ever bought and I have been using it non stop for days. I ordered it at 2 o clock yesterday afternoon and got it this morning at about 10. If you look at this product and think that it may be a waste of money think again because it is great!!!! I would recommend this to anyone because to use it you don't even need the instructions. The Picoo z really is an addictive little toy, having never flown a rc heli of any kind before I had this going round the kitchen (without bumping into things) in about a hour, one tip is if yours starts to do strange things or is unresposive to your controls after a few crashes on the floor check for hairs or fluff on the rotor spindles also spare rear rotor blades (I have had one break so far) are sometimes available on ebay.

What an incredible toy. As advertised it is virtually inductructable and can be flown by a complete novice. I must admit though that trimming it can be a bit fiddly, as one click too many and the helicopter spins, either left or right. Great for the price though.

The Zicco z is one of the best micro helicopters I have flown. Not only does it fly it is highly steady and controllable. Unlike other micro helis of its class it only has 2 channels up down left and right, you would think the thing could not fly in a strait line but oh yes with the littlest of practice you can have the thing flying like a pro around obstacles under tables and even landing in confined spaces is possible. Try throwing it then give the heil full throttle and watch it steady itself within seconds. For a fast take off hold the Picco at a 45 degree, full throttle and let go to see it shoot across the room. Everybody who is starting to get in to RC helicopters should try this one first.

What a fab machine. I play at work and home, have had lots of crashes and it still flies. It's best indoors but with no wind it will fly outside. 10min charge 10-12 min flight, for the price of entertainment in our days this is well worth the money.

The Pico Z Micro Helicopter literally transformed my 35 year old boyfriend into a 5 year old. I could practially see the grey flannel shorts, muddy knees and trailing shoelace as he, with his tongue slightly sticking out, concentrated on trying to stop the flying 'wrecking machine' from crashing into another of his mothers vases on christmas day! The transformation was a delight to behold! An excellent invention!

I just got my Pico Z helicopter, and it is absolutely amazing. It's so easy to use with just the 2 controls and its fast charging. Fits right into the palm of your hand, you may think it's small but it is very very fast. It's also so cheap at £30 I brought 2 more a day later. Fly them together - so much fun yey!!! Woohoo! I'm telling you with experience, when you have the chance buy one you'll be very satisfied ! Trust me ! and IWOOT !

Showing off my flying skills in the bedroom i managed to crash into the lamp shade , out of controll and heading towards me it was choper v choper a quick side step and i was safe but stood on the crashed choper and broke the tail,glued it together and the next day had it flying over a 5 ton overhead crane in Rowland Woodhouse workshop (it is indrstructible) and great fun!

If you're considering buying one of these PicooZ micro helis... Stop considering and buy one! I've found that it's necessary to re-adjust the trim after every other flight or so... but that's probably because of the amount of crashes it's had! (not all my fault though!) It's robust, easy to get the hang of, and most of all fun! What more can I say?

I received this as a gift on my recent birthday, its absolutely brilliant, i have spent plenty of time in the evening keeping just out of range of the cats swiping paws and hovering hoverering over the wife whilst she reads the evening paper. Since i have got one so have 2 of my collegues. 1st Class entertainment, cant recomend it enough. I just bought this PicooZ Micro Helicopter and have only put it down to type this review!!
It is a great toy and once you get used to the handling you will not want to put it down just like me!!! I usually fly RC aeroplanes but thought I would try this. Never regretted it since.
*Quick tip*
If you want even more faster forward motion, stick blue tac on the tip of the nose on the PicooZ, or if you don't have blue tac use double sticky tape and put two paperclips side by side on the nose, using the double sticky tape to hold them.

Another excellent product from IWOOT! I'd never flown an RC helicopter before, but with the PicooZ, i was a pro within 30 minutes. It is incredibly strong since I have crashed it into many walls at high speed and it is still in perfect condition. Just in case you break the tail propellor (which seems indestructable like the rest of it) you are given four spares! I was amazed at how fast and agile it is. It is definitely worth the price and many of my friends are getting one now they have seen mine. I strongly recommend it to anyone, even if they have had no flying experience like me! Excellent job IWOOT!!!!!

Really amazing. It is actually more stable than I expected. I flew it on its first charge on and off for at least 15 minutes. It was easy to control the throttle to make it hover steadily (and I have never flown one before), but it didn't go anywhere! Then I decided to put a bit of folded cardboard taped to the nose as a weight. Now it typically goes slowly forward and round in nice circles until I gently steer it the other way for a bit. It usually hits something eventually but I let go of the throttle and it never seems to get damaged.

Truly fantastic! The picoo z micro helicopter is soooooo good to fly. It is soo fun, so stable and soo worth it. It's very stable for its weight and can be modified to your desire using the metal labels they give for extra zoom. One thing that I have already had to use (after 2 days) is the spare tail propeller. After 5 easily avoided crashes into my fireplace it eventually gave up and was scarred by a tiny cut.Now it is running perfectly again and after a while to get used to the controls, I can enjoy this amazing flying machine to its full potential. A spectacularly fun first helicopter! For adults and children.

Absolutely brilliant little toy! I bought it for my dad for his birthday, and he's been addicted since! Takes a couple of flies to gain any real control over it, but that's half the fun! Also enjoyed flying it in the dark! Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gift or just to bring a little amusement to the home or workplace!

My boyfriend got one of these for his birthday and we've been fighting over who gets to play with it ever since.
The controls are simple so you can start playing with it at once. But it's very addictive and you need to practice to actually steer the damn thing properly. The best thing about it is you can get additional helicopters and use up to three at the same time on different channels. We're planning an airbourne battle ..

I bought my boyfriend picooz micro helicopter last Christmas. Girls if you want your man to love you forever get one of these. My boyfriend played with it non-stop even though he usually gets bored with gadgets after a few hours. He still plays with it now almost a year later.
It works just as well outside as it does inside which is just as well because it means you can send him off to the park if you want a break from it! But really enjoyed it when I had ago, although I don't think I'm going to go for a pilots licence any day soon!
For the price it makes a great gift and it's an absolute classic big boy's toy!

It's really good even though I cant fly it very well. A quick tip, if you want it to fly forward fast but not permenantly, put bluetack on the nose. it works well but dont put it on the black windscreen or it peels of.

I bought the Picooz for my boyfriend for his birthday and it truly brought out the child in him. It's difficult to control if you don't take off from an even surface, but once its up in the air you'll have loads of fun learning to dive bomb unsuspecting couch victims. It's very hardy and has had plenty of bumps but none that have made any lasting damage. The battery requires charging after a while of solid flying but doesn't take long to charge and then its up up and away again. Lots of fun and well recommended!!!
