This marvel of design and engineering has raised the bar on key-ring tools. Not only is the Utili-Key the size of a key, it also looks like a key, and yet opens up to reveal six excellent little tools - all the ones you wish you had with you when you're out and about, but never do. There's a Phillips screwdriver (and boy, up until now we've lost more of those than we can remember), a straight blade, a serrated blade, an eyeglass screwdriver, a bottle opener (yippee!) and a flat screwdriver. With its neat self-locking attachment, the Utili-Key is streets ahead of other key ring tools as it's so quick and easy to attach and detach from your other keys - so you can get down to work without all the other stuff on your key ring rattling around in an annoying way.
The Utili-Key snaps open at 90 degrees, or at 180 degrees depending on which tool you want to use, weighs a pocket-saving 14g (that's just ½ an ounce) and has a lifetime guarantee. How anyone gets by without one of these is a mystery.

This is a gadget which has grown on me. First impressions were that the blade bit might lop my finger off every time I tried opening a beer, but once you work out which way to do things, it's perfectly safe. I particularly like the built-in saw, the way it locks open at 180 degrees and (of course) the tiny, tiny key size when it's closed. I wouldn't leave home without my Utilikey (really).

I think this is really cool, i got one for christmas and have taken it everywhere with me since, nothing with screws in it has stayed together long. The bottle opener was a bit fiddly to start with but now I have got used to it I find it really easy. Of course all my mates want one having now seen it, and its getting a bit reppetitive having to say iwantoneofthose each time. A very good gift well done iwoot.

I think this gadget looks very cool, so that is why i bought myself one. It has helped me a lot with my work and at random moments out and about. If you need some help with anything D.I.Y. then you will definitely want one of these.

I don't know why this is branded Swiss-Tech. It's made in China and designed in California. What I do know is that it's brilliant to have a small, safe, legal knife in my pocket, for opening things, the eyeglass screwdriver will make you popular with your spectacle-wearing friends, and the bottle-opener will avert many a beer closure tragedy.
