The gizmo works by a combination of an internal gyroscope, centrifugal force
and inertia. Once you get the central ball spinning, you rotate your wrists
to build up speed. The top speed possible is 15,000 rpm - though we've never
made it past 12,000 (wimps), and it exerts the most remarkable forces on your
wrist - you really feel like you've had an arm workout! Playing with this is
an almost guaranteed crowd puller, as everyone will want a go, and be determined
to beat everyone else's highest score. It's dead clever, needs no batteries
or motor, just pure gyroscopic power and a strong arm at 15000 rpm it's exerting
almost 40lbs of pressure on your arm!
The onboard computer can measure your current RPM, the most recent fastest speed (which is like 'Top Score' and is knocked out by anyone who's faster), and also the most revolutions made in 30 seconds. It makes for some very competitive play and in the meantime has a remarkable effect on strengthening your arm and your grip. Put an end to wet fish handshakes, and get a grip on the Power Ball.

This gadget is amazing, once you have the ball going it's like holding a live grenade - you feel like it could go off any minute. Try using it with your 'non-writing hand', the concentration it takes to keep it going is unbelievable. Great for building your muscles or just fun.

Dude, the powerball is far out man. A totally gnarly experience that pushes the very envelope of physical endurance while at the same time soothing the mind with its therapeutic hypnotic neon glow. I have been using boring dumbbells to achieve perfect physical conditioning at a budget price for years. However, dumbbells just aren't far out enough, they just don't have the wacky 'x' factor that the powerball oozes. With the powerball people take me seriously, they say "that man is extreme, he is an athlete living on the edge". I can exercise in total confidence now that I have finally managed to fuse the finer points of physical and mental development into a lethally successful knife edge combination. Who could imagine that a small glowing plastic ball manufactured in SE Asia could transform my life? I salute you Powerball, I am now complete.

This thing is amazingly wacky and cool. My friends have have competitions to the death (not literally!) It really does help your muscles and really feels like a workout. I would recommend it to anybody, especially those who think they can handle it - we'll see about that!

If you rely on that physical strain you call 'picking up the remote' to keep your shape in Mr. Motivator proportions, then this gargantuan gadget is gonna knock your socks off. The instructions are so easy it makes it sound like child's play, until you actually feel of its worldly power, then you would think twice about letting the kids have a go. They don't get a look in anyway, it's totally addictive. I can't get enough of it, I'm a drummer and it's really helped my playing. Plus the fact that it glows, means hours of entertainment even through the night, much to the disgruntlement of my band mates trying to get a decent night's sleep. A must-have for either physical or pure gadgetary needs!

I bought one of these after trying my friends and was very impressed. As usual it took me a while to get it working but once it did my arms died after a few minutes. However this extra exercise routine of mine with help strengthen my arms in time for my exams soon. P.S. I also took it along to a restaurant and my cousins house and so much interest was shown a few other people had decided to buy one.
All I need to do now is practice more in order to have the highest score...

P.S. It's a great product and well worth the money as you will not need to work on weights or push-ups in the gym (saving the entry fee) and it will very quickly pay itself off!

The Neon Powerball is fantastic! I use it everyday and can't get enough of the thing. With the several different modes it has there's loads of variety and fun in it. I didn't think it would be that good but i bought it and was amazed! I would have never thought such a small thing could be so clever and give such a great workout! The Neon light iluminates when it's spinning and is a great feature. My first buy from IWOOT and am very impressed!

I Did It! I finally got up to 15,000 RPM. I spent hours, nay, days trying for this. I can feel my arms getting stronger, and can now finally hold up my own bodyweight. A couple more weeks, and I could be the next Arnie Schwarzenegger.

Woa!, after using this thing just a few times i felt like i'd got a new arm!, and i only got it today. You can really feel the force the powerball is putting on every part of your arm, its a real work out. Id suggest this to anyone who find dumbells a little boring, this thing is very addictive, even when your arms hurt. I imagine ill get alot of "where did you get that" when i go to college tommorow, and they'll want a go no doubt. This is a great little gadget for lazy people who want some exersize

The powerball is immense! I'm a drummer and it really helps get your wrists going and definitely enhances play! I teach drums too and recommend the powerball to all my pupils (except the really young ones... it'd probably pull their arms off!). They're so good.. I've bought two.. so that I can use one in each hand simulatenously!
