We're sure you can imagine the look on our faces when this crate of impeccable real ale was unveiled in a product meeting. It was all we could do to stop ourselves dashing off to find a pewter tankard. The range of beautiful nut-browns in this super set is perfectly balanced, very varied and as much of an education in the ways of ale as you could possibly need - 13 (that's right, 13) different ales in total.

Of course, testing these ales was an absolutely essential part of the process. We're doing it for you, folks, honestly we are. We couldn't very well sell you rubbish ales, so we made sure that every single last drop of the sample crate we were sent was utterly delicious. And you know what? It was! Praise be! Ales from all over the country and with varying fusty names are the name of the game here, and these really are terrific quality.

Aviator, Dr. Johnson's, Wandle, Thin Ice and Quartz Blonde are just some of the scrummy ales on offer. The contents of the box may vary, but we can guarantee that, no matter which ales you end up with, they will be utterly delicious when consumed with pie and mash. So whether you're a seasoned ale-quaffer or a newcomer to the joys of the brown stuff, then this selection box is more than enough to keep you going.
