The Moon in my room is a nice addition to the romantic nights, and is quite soothing at the same time. The surface of the Moon in my room is very accurate and the changing phases of the moon light are quite convincing. It is well constructed and operates in silence with ease.

Interesting idea

This worked quite well for the six-year-old recipient. What I would like to have seen is that it should be powered by radio rather than batteries which, of course, run down.

It's the moo-oon!

We've put this in our wee girl's room (she's almost 2) and it was worth paying a bit extra for a nightlight when she looked in amazement the first time ("it's the mooooooon!") - think she's figured by now it's not the real thing, but she still says 'hello moon' when she goes up to bed at night! The remote is great for being able to pop it on to check on her through the night without fumbling about for lightswitch, and it's probably safer at her age than a conventional lamp as it can be put up well out of reach. Four stars only as it would be good to have a choice of a bigger size and one that you can change colour to a big yellowy harvest moon - that would be kewl!
