The ultimate inter-stellar knights of good and evil have the coolest weapons, now you too can get lightsabered-up with these awesome true-life Force FX Lightsaber replicas, with full saber-sweeping light and sound. Not only are the durable metal hilts true copies of the film originals (and dead hefty too), they incorporate a pre-programmed, on-board, multi-channel sound chip with digital sound effects taken from the movie. When you power them up, these lightsabers make the true "pshhhhewwww" noise and, as the handset contains motion sensors, when you swish them through the air practising your Jedi moves, they make the proper "whummmm, whummmm" noise. This alone is enough to have you jumping for joy (but in a very cool and collected Jedi way, of course), but, that's not all - they also make the unforgettable "pshaw""zoing" "vowumm" noise when hit against a solid object*. Do check out the actual noises on the player below, as our spelling may be a little off.
Of course as well as the great noise effects, the sabers themselves have a sturdy polycarbonate blade permanently attached to the hilt. At the flick of a switch the blade fires up like the real thing, glowing brightly as you feel the force. Darth's is of course red, Luke Skywalker's is the new blue version, Obi Wan Kenobi's is blue, Yoda's is green, and possibly the coolest and baddest of all is Darth Maul's double-bladed Jedi hunter. It's up to you to decide whether you feel the 'dark side' or fancy yourself as a crusading Jedi Knight (now, rather oddly, an 'official' religion according to the latest UK census). They're about as unputdownable as it gets, and we've spent far more time than is strictly healthy wandering about the office breathing heavily and feeling deeply empowered.
*These wicked weapons should not be used to strike others. Although the blades are durable, they should never be used for fighting or duelling. The Force FX Lightsabers were produced by Master Replicas as a collectables; they are not intended for duelling.

These things are great, as soon as you get it out the box you are amazed at the fine detailing of the handle itself. After inserting the batteries just find the switch and prepare to be amazed with lifelike lightsaber action! With official noises from the films themselves these are a must buy!

I received the Luke Skywalker version of this superb product with breathless anticipation at work. As soon as it arrived, there was a buzz around the office when my colleagues realised what it was, so much so that they chipped in with the batteries from various personal stereo equipment. I powered it up and each of the 100 people within close proximity of my desk colluded to give the most fantastic "WOW" that you have ever heard! This isn't just good, it's awesome. I'm going to buy the Darth Vader one next, it's easily the best thing I have ever bought.

This product is the absolute closest thing you will get to owning a Lightsaber. Although it is not specifically made for duelling it looks and sounds like the film. Buy one of these, as they are collectors' items and may not be around for long!

My two younger brothers recieved three of these today (Darth Vader, Anakin, and Luke), and they just screamed at each others faces in joy upon opening them. Needless to say they unpacked them in a huge hurry and proceeded to add batteries and get a lightsaber fight going. I tryed on myself, and they are utterly fantastic, and even though you know they are collectors pieces, you just cannot resist the urge to thwack your fellow Jedi Knights on the head. Having just purchased what i thought was a mere toy I now stand amazed amidst the cool neon blue glow of the force fx lightsabre. This is nothing like the cheap poor quality imitations that you routinely find on the high street. The craftmanship that has gone into each unit is amazing. This gadget is a piece of contemporary art showing the fusion of technology and ancient jedi weapons. Quite simply the best replica on the market. Get one it will make your life better.

i think thats the right clip, but if it is then it is me with my darth maul lightsaber (only one end though) after i got it for christmas, it is great, even my mum loves it and cant stop messing with it. it is great i advise you get one, NOW, you can even learn cool tricks to do on www.force-fx.com, it is great and i love it.
