The Thea Solar Garden Spotlight will illuminate up to 15 metres and the 8 super bright LEDs make it one of the most powerful solar garden spotlights available. A powerful 1.4W solar panel charges the high capacity batteries during the day without mains power, meaning there are no running costs. When night falls the Solar Garden Spotlight will illuminate automatically until dawn where it will begin to charge again for the upcoming night.
There are various easy to install brackets which allow you to customise the spotlight, including: a wall/fence mounting bracket, stake fitting for the garden and deck mount bracket. Rugged plastic construction ensures it will continue to work even in harsh winter conditions. (Andrew Douse)

The Thea Solar Garden Spotlight is very good and very bright. I wonder if it will keep going through Scottish winters...
This works well when the sun shines, giving a slightly blue rather cold light. However, it is not easy to orient it to both the desired target and the sun, and it remains switched on all night (until the battery runs out) unless you go out and physically switch it off. It also needs several hours of direct sun to recharge.
Having heard good things about this The Solar Garden Spotlight and combined with the great price I took the plunge and bought one. Overall this is a superb solar light which is well designed and very easy to install. It churns out loads of light for a solar light. The LEDs are very bright and easily illuminate to a height of 8". The one and only drawback is that the solar panel itself only tilts forwards and back but should really be on a ball joint therefore allowed total rotation to capture the most light possible. This is a very minor, minor detail, and if you want a very good solar spotlight then this is the one for you. I will be getting more of these.
I was a little sceptical that the Thea Solar Garden Spotlight would work well based purely on solar power. However, I have to say I'm blown away by how bright it is and how long it stays on. The weather has been a mixture of brilliant sunshine and overcast, and it seems to charge with no problems. The variety of fixings are a bonus. The only reason I've not given it 5 stars is that we've yet to sit out in the evening and see just how much useful light it casts, but as a security light, it's great. Our neighbours have the more typical solar garden lights you see in garden centres etc, and in comparison they look pathetic.
I have now bought 5 of theses Thea Solar Garden Spotlights which are far better than I imagined solar lights could be. They provided a good (do not expect a security light type beam) but subtle light over my garden. I'm very happy with lights.
