Why in heck are we selling a cake mould? Well we're not (although we are; it's complicated), we're selling what it can do. For those in the know, when it comes to professional hard-wearing moulds, Nordicware have no equal, which is nice. What it means of course is that they've come up with the most intricate and detailed castle mould on the market. This makes it essential for kid's birthdays, but far more importantly we've discovered that because it's so well made, it has myriad uses for grown-ups.
We managed to make a stonking, pure, solid, Belgian Chocolate castle (which didn't last nearly as long as it should have done, and now we're all considerably fatter). Then we tried ice with equal success, and it's now official that a vodka jelly castle is a sure-fire recipe for a successful party. Whatever you're making (and pretty well anything seems to work first time), this mould will make your party rock whether it's your first birthday or your eightieth.
