Simply attach the lunar module to your bottle of bubbly (ok not actually a lunar module, but there's a kind of similarity, you know, after you've had a few, quite a few.) Once attached, then make like a lottery winner cum formula one driver and shake it up, firing your cork into the air*. Then instead of the cork careering off the ceiling at high speed, everyone ducking like mad and someone getting tonked on the head, a parachute opens, and your cork comes drifting down to earth - excellent, and you can use it again and again.
*This of course won't work if your ceiling is only just above head height, you'll just get a hefty dent in the ceiling and probably break something. Please read the instructions carefully.

Earlier in the year my brother did a charity parachute jump! I think the champagne parachute was the perfect idea for his birthday - much cheaper than the real things, with all the memories! Thanks IWOOT for another brilliant idea.

Excellent item. It's an ongoing joke in my house that my dad manages to hit people on the head every time he opens a bottle of bubbly - this has stopped so many people becoming maimed by flying corks.

It's very good, I found them helpful when you want a sneaky drink of champagne by the pool on holiday but don't want your cork to go flying...and for 3 pounds fifty you cant go wrong!
