The light ring changes colour as the water is boiling so that you can easily see the optimum temperature for your drink of choice. Green and white teas prefer cooler temperatures of 70 and 80 degrees whilst the flavour of coffee and black tea is enhanced with temperatures of 90 and 100 degrees.

Not only can you easily monitor the temperature of the water but the viewing gauge means you know exactly how much water is in your kettle. The perfect pour spout gives a precise single steam stream of water making sure you do not pour boiling water onto your surfaces whilst the push to open lid is easy to refill and the 1.7L capacity is energy efficient.  The Illumina Kettle is durable thanks to the removable washable filter which helps you to monitor the build-up of limescale.
