Brew your ideal cup of tea with the Breville VKJ436 Stainless Steel and Glass Tea Maker. The Breville Tea Maker can be adapted based on what tea you'd like to infuse and the brewing strength. If you haven't got time to infuse tea leaves, it can also be used as a normal kettle so it won't take up too much room in your kitchen.
Heat water to either low, medium, high or boiling temperature settings which ensures you get the best brew possible. This suits a wide range of teas e.g. if you brew green tea leaves at too high a temperature, the leaves will become bitter. Once your tea has been brewed the kettle features a keep warm setting, which will keep your brew warm for up to 60 minutes after brewing.
Made from hardened glass, the kettle can withstand high temperatures and you'll be able to see how much water you require and see the progress of your brew. It's also really easy to clean and can safely function with less water thanks to the concealed element. Featuring a non-slip, 360° rotational base that's suitable for both left and right handed use and there's cord storage to keep your kitchen worktop tidy. - A.D.

variable temp kettle
Bought as a present and the item looks good and works well I bought one previously for myself so I know. It is important to have various temperature when making some of the more expensive delicate teas and this model allows you to do that.

impressive stylish and at an excellent price compared to elsewhere the kettle itself is light weight (though sturdy and quality) good for some one with some mobility issues or arthritis, though the lids and tea making section and mechanism can be fiddly and a little unclear once your mastered it it becomes easier with practice. I like the stay hot function and the boil is quite rappid I am not sure whether the temererature differentials are that accurate and I would have to get a didgital thermometer to test it so as yet I have not used it for the teas I bought it for (i.e the expensive ones that need such accuracy as they are delicate) I contacted brevile themselves but as yet no reply if you are wanting large amounts of hot water for a big family a bigger kettle may be needed but that would counter its other advantages. It is very quick and looks good in any case I tend to use mine without the filter as not keen on plastics so using as a quality stand alone kettle Over all I am very pleased with the product and product was at a very good price compared to other sites
