TIE (Twin Ion Engines) fighters are swift and nifty vehicles that served in the Star Wars Empire. Darth Vader's Fighter was the inspiration behind the designs that followed.

Star Wars Darth Vader's TIE Fighter Snaptite Model

While I am a huge fan of all things Star Wars, sometimes things just don't fit. I am very happy with the Star Wars Darth Vader's TIE Fighter Snaptite Model however, the assembly was not as smooth as I thought it would be. Usually I enjoy the building as much as the final product but with this product it wasn't the case. The parts were a lot more fiddly than I expected them to be and worst of all, some of them actually didn't fit perfectly. For the final few holes I had to use a screwdriver to widen them in order to make everything fit properly. All in all, I am happy with the product and aside from a bit of fuss it is well worth the price!
