The Red FV9970 has Tefal’s Glide Protect Autoclean solepate, which offers longer lasting performance by eradicating loose fibres that stick to the face of the iron, which can cause marks on your clothes and affect the iron’s glideability.

The trigger-operated 35g/min variable steam output and powerful turbo shot function (180g/min) makes light work of tough areas, plus the Double Anti-drip device ensures no water leakage onto clothes. The Anti-Scale system and self-clean functionality increases the lifetime of the product, which is particularly useful in hard-water areas. Not only does this product look after your clothes but it also looks after you too. The patented Tefal Freemove base features a shock-absorbent dome, intended to reduce strain on your wrists.
