Designed for safety the DB5220-U 4 Safety Plus Steam Iron from AEG boasts a four-fold safety programme, which includes a three-way auto shut-off with an acoustic alarm and a unique ThermoSafe hot base indicator. If the iron is knocked over or left on its soleplate, the iron switches off after 30 seconds, and when unused in its upright position, the iron shuts off after 8 minutes. Meanwhile, the ThermoSafe indicator tells you when the iron is hot even after it is switched off.
